13-1-2010 - High FSH

My mood while writing this blog:
Nervous

I took the First Response Fertility Test yesterday and the results were that I have high FSH. This means I have a poor Ovarian reserve which I think basically means I have "bad eggs". Diane has already assured me that this does not mean that I can't get pregnant but it still has me worried sick. I have an appointment with my Doctor on Friday but the week is dragging by and I just want to know how to proceed and what my options are etc. I was already getting worried because we have been TTC for 6 months with no luck. Also the miscarriage I had back in October makes me think I won't be able to keep a pregnancy anymore. I've been googling a lot and I've read some encouraging articles as well as discouraging. I'll feel better after I get my Doctor's opinion and come up with a plan of action so to speak. Monday starts my fertile week so I guess unless the Dr says not to, we will continue TTC. Has anyone else had any experience with this issue?

so sorry to hear that you got a negative result from your test! I am not familiar with this issue but I hope your doctors appointment goes well on Friday. keep us posted :)
