02-10-2011 - update of pregnancy week 38

My mood while writing this blog: happy yet tired

well I am adding this a little late but I thought I would add this update from my dr appt. because these are really nice to have to look back on...........

on Sept. 28th. 2011 I had a normal ob appt. to have baby and I checked....I lost another pound I have now only gained 3 pounds in this whole pregnancy and thats no lie.....

my blood pressure was good, urine was good, and baby's heart rate sounded really good as well dr. told me that this baby is gonna be bigger than any other baby that I have had in the past......based on the fact that the baby's head isnt decended into the pelvic bone at all yet, and to the top of my belly the baby is messuring big.

he checked me internally and said that I am only 1cm. dialalated and that I am still very long and thick and again that baby's head is still high.......

we started to discuss a plan of action and they decided to go ahead with an induction date because of how big the baby is and with me having 16 total pregnancies they know that I am gonna be going fast once labor starts, and also because they are afraid that i wouldnt make it to the hospital in time, to get pain medication because if I dont get them I am going to have a very very hard time delivering this pain because of the fact that my hips and sacrum are very bad and I wouldnt be able to pull myself up to push.....but if I go into labor before my induction date then they are gonna let it go of course and try as fast as they can to get me pain meds and all that before the baby is born and out lol......

my induction date is set for ( October 7th. 2011 ) at 8 am.
