17-2-2009 - 32 week Prenatal Appt. Today Results

My mood while writing this blog: Confused but very happy

I am needing some help ladies....lol.....I went to my 32 week prenatal Appt. today, and they did an ultrasound to check the baby all out and stuff......And I asked them to again check the sex of the baby for me....

Well when he first looked around he asked me what did they tell you before that you were having?...I told him they say boy, but haven't been able to see any penis in any of the ultrasounds though, As he examined the area of the baby he said well I am not seeing any boy parts at all here, and then then he goes oh there ya go theres the testicles right there I looked, and said huh? those are quit large don't ya think......He said ya they are as he continued to look he began to say, I can't find the penis either anywhere here, I asked him then can you do it in 3D to see what you see, and he tried and he said you know what I can't be 100% certin that this is a boy, but then he goes and prints out this picture and puts testicles on it, and WOW is all I got to say they do not look any where near like testicles to me, it looks like a part of a leg to me if you look hard at it.....and he again said I don't know I can't be certin that this is for sure a boy because I can't find any penis anywhere, and you have to have a penis to go with testicles to be a boy,

Now to me here if you are having a boy being that I am 32 weeks along they should without any doubt be able to see the penis and balls with no problem, and yet they have been not 100% with this whole boy thing because they can't find a penis at any of my ultrasounds and I have an ultrasound every visit so thats a lot of ultrasounds.....what do you ladies think by this new picture that I put on my profile? tell me please my husband says that if thats balls then he wants to know what the heck part of his geans did he give to this baby because his balls aren't even that big.....lol......

Now enough about that part of the visit, the baby weighs 3lbs. 12ozs. aprox. and as he messure my belly the baby is messuring only at 31 weeks. He says this is good though, but all around with messurments and all the baby is in the 28th percentile for growth, he said thats low, but yet still in the normal range, but everything else looked good he said So I am happy......And that was my day, but please let me know what you think look hard and study the U/S picture and tell me what you think from what I have told you......
