03-3-2009 - My Prenantal Appt today

My mood while writing this blog: Happy but confused

Well as the most of you know I had an OB appt coming up today and well everything went very well I am very happy about everything........

Details about the baby that doctor told me.....Baby weighs 4lbs. 14ozs. right now, and heart rate was good and strong 167 beats per minute.....baby is growing better now and catching up.

Now.....lol.....About the baby's Sex the Doctor told me well what have you been told about the baby's sex before, and I told him I prefer not to tell him because then he might go off of that....So he said ok.....and started to look, and as he was looking he said well it looks to me that you are having a little girl with a swollen labia caused by high hormones......and then he asked me what I was told before.....and I told him that I was told that they are 40% sure it's a boy, but they couldn't find a penis in any of my ultrasounds and thats a lot of u/s's because I get one everytime that I come in, and he agreed, but then he looks again and says you know what that could be a scrotum......lmao.......I asked him but Doctor wheres the penis then?.....and can't you look in the baby's abdomen and see if there are overies devolping? and he said well I could, but the baby has ran out of room and the legs are curled up against it and it makes it so I can not see anything in there......I said ok, So what about 4D and he said nope won't work tried it, and I can't make out what it is at all.......but I am guessing girl he said, but on the other hand prints out a picture that says scrotum....lmao....now why would he say one thing and type another?.....who knows but he told me not to buy anything for the baby because he can't tell what it is and can't be sure of anything so he said wait till the baby is born then you should know what it is....lol.....I said well I hope so, because if not theirs a problem then....lmao....

So there ya have it that was my exciting ob appt. and I am now starting to go every week so here goes the pregnancy is going to be flying by now.....next ob appt. is next tuesday the 10th. of march 3 days before my b-day and I get another ultrasound again......So we'll see it's early in the morning it's at 8:45am.
