10-3-2009 - Ultrasound results today

My mood while writing this blog: happy/ tired

Well here is what everyone today has been waiting for to hear from me.........*smile*.......I am sorry it has took me so long to post this blog and let all my wonderful friends thats care know how it all went today, but I had no internet today had to call phone company and see what was going on with it......as normal.......anyways

I arrived at my appt. and I was getting a little nervous in the waiting room, but then they called me back and I waited until they were done with the ultrasound room, and then they had me go in and take everything off waste down, Then the doctor came in and messure my belly, and that messured 34 weeks, I asked him was this ok?, and he said that those mean nothing not to worry, So I thought well ok then why do you do them, but didn't say anything........

On with the ultrasound we went, and he did the normal messurements of the baby and all and now the baby weighs less this week I don't see how that can be, but last week the baby weighed aprox. 4lbs. 14ozs. the dr. said and this week the baby weighed aprox. 4lbs. 12ozs. has anyone else ever had this happen to them?

Then when he was done there I asked him could we please see about the baby's sex again because it is really bothering me and I would really like to know if we are able to find out.....then I said outloud, but I know thats asking to much huh?...lol...he chuckled and said lets see here if we can't get a good look this week for you, and tell you what this baby is.....Well he looked and he looked over and over again, and nothing he was just about to give up when I asked him could you please view it with 4D and see if you can see anything that way at all?....and he said sure we can lets see, Well now he was even getting into it as well as he even pulled the nurse into it as well trying to make things out, and even me too, but a BIG NOPE......

He told me that it looks like in a way that it is testicles, but on the other hand it looks like a swollen labia, but he can't find at all a penis anywhere to go with those testicles so he is thinking more on the labia side of it, but doesn't want to say for sure he said that the baby is very swollen and that I wouldn't be able to tell the baby's sex at all due to this fact until it was born.......BOO HOO I thought as he said this, but what can I do he tried the nurse tried and I tried, and nothing.....it's ok though I don't have to much longer to go.....but I did ask him one thing though I asked him was he looking at this thing that is so unsure about from the butt to the back of it? or was he looking at this thing that he was unsure about from the belly and the front of it?, and he said I am looking at it from the front end of it, not the butt and thats why I am saying that I can't say what it is because theirs no penis and even if it was small I would of been able to see it with 4D, but he said that doesn't mean though still that it isn't there though he said I really can't tell you what it is and he said sorry, I said that was ok I understand and asked if it was ok that the baby was this swollen?, and he said yeah the baby is allowed to be...lol...

Then he did my group B strep test, and then checked my cervix and he said that the baby is still high, but he wants me to rest more than I am already and stay off of my feet, because I am thinning out a little bit and my cervix is between closed and a finger tip at most. I asked him so could this back pain be causing this?, and he said yes cause it could be back labor, or the BH's are startinbg to do it too though maybe he said, but he wants me to take it easy.....So I am going to the easier that I take it the longer that the baby will stay in and thats what I want, I want the baby to be big and strong and healthly and FULL TERM!!!!! most of all.....

As far as me leaking with my water bag, he didn't check it out, but I did ask him about it and he said that when he looked at the fluid now remember I said he looked not messured, but I trust his word though he is a very good doctor......*smile*.....just a little bit of a temper at times......anyways back to what I was saying here.......he said that he looked at it on the ultrasound and their was a lot of fluid around the baby, and if I was leaking even a small amount that the fluid wouldn't look that good on there, So I thought and said ok, then whats the wettness from? He said well the more pregnancies that you have and you are on number 13 he said that you will create more mucus and moisture and thats what it is nothing else you are fine and so is the baby, although he said the baby is more on the smaller side but still within normal range so nothing to worry about there.

I am not to worried about that....Well ok maybe a little bit.....but I usually have smaller babies anyways my biggest baby was my first baby and that was when I was raped at age 14 and she weighed 7lbs. 6ozs. they have all been smaller than her, just really big heads that hurt and long bodies.......lol......

So here I am now 31 days left to go till my due date which I know I won't get to see that...lol....but remember my count down is till I reach my goal and thats 37 weeks, and I only have 10 days to go till that comes along so I am very very happy I know I can do that many days......with no problem I hope....lmao

read my next blog I promise it is a lot shorter than this one here and thank you all for taking the time to read such a long a** blog hope all of you are doing great and well, and oh yeah my next blog is going to be about what my husband is going to do for me on my birthday well the day after because I don't concider the 13th to be my birthday when it lands on a Friday that is so my b-day this year is the 14th......lol
