17-3-2009 - 36 Week Ob appt.

My mood while writing this blog: tired but relaxed

Well So I went to both of my doctors appt's. today and they were both good here below are all the details of my OB Appt. and my PCP Appt.

Baby's heartrate: 138 beats per minute

Fundal height: 36 weeks (used to be behind a week and now it's where it should be)

Ultrasound: Didn't have one this time Boohoo, but it's ok...lol

Urine screen: Showed a lot of Acitone in my pee pee (said I need to eat more and eat vegtables, and whole wheat products to get that out of me or I will have a lot of pain due to that being in my pee pee)

Strep B Test: Negative (pretty much knew this already though cause I have never had one positive ever in any of my pregnancy's Doctor said I won't be needing antibiotics though during labor so thats good)

Cervix: Doctor checked me internally and said that I am almost 1cm dialated now, but still around that fingertip though, baby's head was still up high, and he said that I won't be going into labor today unless a miracle were to happen for me...lol...So thats all good too, because I do not want this baby out at least until my goal date...(37 weeks), Only 4 days to go till that time comes....Yay

Concerns to Doctor that I had: Told the doctor about a little bit of mucus plug coming out lastnight he said that is normal and that it will happen now that my cervix is opening up more. But after all that he didn't say anything that if I were to go into labor that he would stop it though, So I don't know about that one, but I am shooting for my goal anyways....

Doctor also said that after all that there he said that he is pretty sure that I am pregnant and that something is for sure inside my belly growing.....lol

Now for PCP Appt. this one here is very very short and sweet......

Blood pressure: 110/70

weight: 180.7 (lost weight about a month ago and haven't regained anything) must be gaining and loosing all at the same time being so active more now.....

all is great though and he is looking for a follow-up appt. in a month and a 1/2 so all good there......

Hope all you ladies had a great day where you live at...it was very warm out here, and I loved it.....my husband and I went for a walk with our dog, and our son in his wagon, and my mother joined along and walked her dog as well and it was very nice although I was pretty sore by the time we got back home.....
