30-3-2009 - I have Given Up

My mood while writing this blog:
tired

Well I have given up all efforts for getting me to go into labor.....They aren't working at all. below are the things that I have tried:

1. rough intercourse

2. sperm (lots of it)

3. walking

4. heavy lifting

5. big time cleaning on my feet all day long.

there ya have it that is all the things that I have tried to put me into labor and nothing. On Thrusday I had 5 minute apart contractions for 1 hour and 15 minutes and then they all stopped, and then again on Friday starting at 7:22 pm. I started contracting again but only every 10 minutes, finally after an hour and a half they went to every five minutes apart, and then back to ten minutes, and this went on all night up until 4 am. in the morning, and then Boom they stopped all together again.......

So as you can tell I am frustrated about all of this I am so sore, and so ready to get this baby out, but nothing it just doesn't want to come out, head is still up high, and I was checked on Friday and I was 3 cm's dialated, and 50% effaced still.

So the only thing that I can get going on is when I do all these crazy things just thinking that they are going to work, and not, I can only get a lot of pressure below and thats all, but it's not pressure down in my woohoo area it is in my abdomin area almost as if the baby is stuck and can't come down,

I am now 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant......out of all my pregnancies (13 of them) I have never made it this far. So I am starting to wonder if the baby is stuck, and having problems moving down to come out.....has anyone else had this problem in their pregnancy with a lot of lower abdomin pain like as if the baby is pushing but stuck?......

Damn, I just sent you a message and lost my signal, now I have to write it all over again.
Anywho, Wednesday is 2 days away...April Fools, he'll show up then. But in the mean time you sound sooooooo freakin uncomfortable and irritated. I'm thinking he's just waiting to make a Grand Entrance into the world. I'm crossing my fingers for you. I'm also feeling for your hubby, I feel bad that all he can do is sit around and wait. Maybe you guys should go to that other hospital and tell them what's going on, maybe they will be able to do something different and get this thing going....just a thought.

ohhh hun, I was a week over due 41 weeks, i didn't mind :) Anyway on Sunday Aug 17 i dranked Herbal tea - Cinnamon apple spice, once in the morning once in the afternoon and then around 7ish i started to get labour pains but nothing serious is was here and there, like every hour until the next afternoon i went in and i was 4cm and i still didn't have any pain pain.until later lol Give that a try :) They also said Rasberry tea too and i was told somewhere at the bottom of your foot there is a spot that can get you going too. they said theres other spots on the bottom of your feet for your liver and heart and stuff like. Ask for a foot msg hee hee =)

Oh I'm sorry. Hopefully everything is ok, and you don't have to get a c-section like someone else mentioned. Maybe your baby just isn't ready.

Maybe its just not time for your baby to come . The thing is every pregnancy and labour is differents .I was 42 weeks pregnant with my first one and am hoping that this baby will not keep me waiting .
I gave every suggestion a go and nothing moved my last baby .
They ay the best thngs in life are worth waiting for .

That's to bad nothing is helping. Have you asked your Dr to sweep your membranes? have they checked to see if the baby is posterior? I know my daughter was so it took me forever to dialate and thin out.

Oh Boy Don't give up!!! Maybe there will be a full moon and all of us 38 weeks and waiting will drop these Babies... lol IDK... I also heard that chinese food will send you into labor.... I am willing to give it a go!!!
