I've read about the period thing and it's normal to not start for awhile because of the breastfeeding. As for drying up just keep from stimulating as much as possible and don't let the shower stream hit them directly and in time it will happen.

It took me nearly 7 months for my milk to dry up completely and It can take a few months for your period to return also. Give it all some time. Your body is adjusting.

has anyone else been through this?.....
i stopped breastfeeding my son on the 31st. of July and here it is the 21st. of August and I am still seeing milk in my breasts.....has anyone else had this how long will it take for my boobs to dry up?.....
and then another thing is that I have still to get my period?....I have tested and they are Neg. I get very very tender down in the lower part of my belly from time to time....has this happened to anyone else?....if so can you tell me what could be going wrong....is this normal?
