Hi All, I just came back from my 34 wks appointment. Everything looks allright. Went to the Non stress clinic and I listened to "Dorie's " heartbeat for about an hour. Then an u/s, which looks ok as per the technician and I am home tired now. I gained 5lbs in 2 wks :( too much weight with the diabetis. My gyno told me not to eat too much (how embarassing). He said my baby is growing fast. So that is the story at this time. I go back in 2wks to gyno, but every week to diabetis and non stress clinic...So long all. take care. Love...Savvy

Hey Savvy, man you and I are hanging out in the same boat lol. I have gestational diabetes too, which they forgot to test me for until I was 31 weeks...and I'm on insulin! I have the non stress tests twice a week and an ultrasound every two weeks, as well as a diabetic counsellor once a week and a dietician once a week...although we're a little different because instead of getting in trouble for gaining weight I'm getting in trouble for losing it! I lost 3 pounds in the last two weeks..I suck at being pregnant lol. Hope everything is going well otherwise for you. We've been calling our baby Nemo because he or she is always swimming around in there and they can never find its heart beat right away so we've taken to making that a game called "finding Nemo" lol.

Are you taking insulin? I gained SOOO much weight my last trimester because of the increased insulin.
