13-6-2009 - Last day of work, June -12-09

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

Hi All, I just wanted to let u all know that yesterday June-12 was my last day at work. I am taking a month off before as you all know I am dealing with some "issues" - diabetis and high blood pressure. I am soo happy to say that - Me, Savvy is on mat leave. OMG, i thought I might never have this day in my life ever. Gilrs, this dream might become a reality after all. :) Anyways at work they did a baby shower and pot luck for me. It was beautiful. I got $100 in cash from other depts. that I work with and my dept bought me all kinds of stuff. I got sooo much nice things. I got so much clothes, we don't have to buy any other baby clothes and I got a bouncer/rocker, also I got a diaper genie(which we would need for the stinkies) and I got a tub with a shower and warmer and another bathing baby thingy that u can put in the sink and bath the baby. It was such a nice day. I did no work all of yesterday. I got gift sets of baby powder/shampoo/body wash e.tc. It was great. See in my country we do not do baby shower. After the baby is born and after 9days we do a religious thing and then we have a big party when everyone comes to see the baby and bring GIFTS...i like that. The only thing is that the people I am going to be inviting will be about 70..i don't know where i will put all of them yet. :)...So this is all for today ladies. I am starting to enjoy my mat leave now. Good luck all, we have few more weeks for us, and for the girls ttc-ing. lots of baby dust to u all. Love...Savvy.
