05-10-2009 - Emma gor her ears pierced

My mood while writing this blog: OK

Hi Guys, How is everyone doing? Hope all right. Well, Emma got her ears pierced yesterday and it was a disaster. We went in and the people were all profesional, checking our ID and her immunization card and giving me the paperwork to sign and so on. Then the girl marked her ears and pierced the right ear. My baby cried (Daddy was holding her-as I could not hold her). I started to cry too, but she was Ok after 2-3mins. Then the girl started to do the left ear and gun was not in properly, so the left ear was pierced slanted and the post of the earring came out at the bottom of my baby's ear. At this time Emma was bawling her little eyes out. The girl then had to take the left earring out and got a new one and had to pierce my baby's left ear AGAIN. At this time, Daddy has to hold her tight, as she know pain was coming again and I was numb. Poor kid. I mean I know how piercings hurt as I had my nose done before and so on. We give her a bottle after that and some tylenol. She cried for like 5 mins, took her bottle and went to sleep for 15mins. When she woke up she was fine, but she was easily frightned that night. We did not sleep properly, as we were worried for her. She is fine today. She is all smiles and back to her old self. I will post 2 new pic of her with her earrings if u want to take a look, she looks so cute.
