Hi All, how are u doing? hope everyone is doing great. I need ur imputs pls. We are planning to take a road trip to New York city from Canada on Feb-19. It is usually a 11-12hrs drive (including stops). My concern is driving that long with a 7 1/2 months old baby and in the winter too. It is my Grand mother's 1yr death anniversary and they are holding a religious ceremony there. When she passed last year I was unable to attend, being preg. and high risk and all. I would love to go now, but we have never done this since I became preg. and now there is a baby with us. I mean did any of u travel this long with ur LO in a car seat? Emma loves to be on the floor playing now, so I am not sure how she will handle being strapped in a car seat for so long. Pls reply and share ur experience and opinions. Thanks.....Savvy.

It should be fine. I travel 4 to 5 hours with 5 kids frequently and have done 9 hour trips on occasion. Just be prepared to stop every few hours to feed and diaper baby and give yourselves a break from the road as well as food too.
