Okay... sooooo!!! Where too start!?
Last Thursday I started to have contractions... they were coming steady, every 2-3 minutes last for 8 hours!! They were not that strong, as to why we never went to the hospital over them. I was coping very well with them. So my mom says.. 'go lay down for awhile' and let her know what happens!!! BAD IDEA! I'm so anxious for this baby too get here. Well I laid down, and OF COURSE they all went away!!!!! I was sooo mad at my mom... obviously I know it's not her fault, but she told me to lay down! Hahah. So we let the midwife know what was happening... and she wasn't too concerned, told me to eat and go to sleep.
Well considering all the contractions stopped.. I went on with my everyday thing the next day.. thinking and hoping that ' OH... it won't be too much longer before I go into real labor! ' ... little did I know...
4 days come and go... and Monday around 2:00ish I started into contractions again... these ones were a little bit stronger at first, timing for 2-3 minutes (again) for 2 hours this time. Changing into quite strong contractions, bringing tears to my eyes. So we contacted my midwife... to let her know what was happening, and ended up deciding we were going to head into the hospital. Seeing that the drive is an hour to get there... and mom was saying she wasn't going to be delivering a baby in the living room... or in the car! Lol. So we contacted my hubby and told him to meet us at the hospital.
1 hour later we arrive at the hospital, by this point I'm nice and nervous, and in pain... thinking " okay, this has got to be it! should get to see my little one soon! " yup, well nope... the hospital here won't admit you into the hospital until you are 4 CM dialated.. and of course, my midwife checks me, and I'm only 2 CM dialated. I was definately having contractions as well, as I was hooked up to the monitor... the heartbeat was great, and the contractions were nice and steady...
So the midwife tells us to go walking for an hour, get something to eat and come back to see her so she can check me to see if anythings progressed. Well one hour later... and not a damn thing changed. By this time I'm ready to cry, because I'm so frustrated! I just want this to be over with.
Today I went to my midwife appoint.. and she checked me again just incase something had happened overnight, and NOPE still at 2 CM. My cervix is nice and soft though, so that's a bonus.
So lately I've been in definately lots of pain... my pelvic bones are very sore, and everytime the baby moves it literally kills me... as she is engaged in my pelvis.
Tomorrow I'll be 39 weeks... and we're hoping that things will changed over the week and we end up going in this weekend sometime!!
My husband is quite excited~ <3
He was meeting us at the hospital last night, and he like fell into the labor and delivery room... and had the biggest smile on his face, he's so excited for her arrival! He won't admit it, but you can tell just by looking at the expressions on his face that he's that excited..
C'MON BABY SAVANNAH... Mommy and Daddy are anxiously awaiting your arrival! <3 <3 <3

Okay... sooooo!!! Where too start!?
