| 17-6-2008 - check up with nurse |  My mood while writing this blog:tired |
Today I took Jayden to the baby nurse to get his measurements and weight done. When he was born he was 8lb 8oz (4.03kg) , 4 1/2 months down the track (or 19 weeks later) he is now 16lb 9oz (7.7kg). He was 20 inches or so when he was born (51cm) and now he's 26 inches long (67cm). Someone might ask if I'm injecting him with steroids and I would have to say...yes I am...LOL...JUST JOKING!!!!! I guess he's just going to be tall. Dan and I aren't very tall people but we do have family who are over 6ft tall so I guess Jayden will just be blessed with the height. The cheeky monster is waking up twice through the night so today I'm putting together a routine which, after a few days, will hopefully encourage him to sleep better. With working nights and having hardly any sleep I'm just absolutely exhausted at the moment. I haven't had a full night sleep since I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant so I'm ready for some good sleeeeeeppp!!

hi.. i was just wondering if the day time routine can effect the way my son is sleeping at night.. any suggestions?

OMG he is a big boy!!! That is great, Im so glad hes doing so well.
Let me know how you go with the new routine, check you out you sound like a woman on a mission. Hope that you get some sleep soon hunni, I dont think people realise the meaning of sleep deprivation till they have kids! lol

OH MY GOODNESS he has doubled in size!!!! I would love to hug him to pieces!!! Oh I know what u mean about sleep I am finally getting good sleep now, I had been working nights for about 9 months and that was 9months without proper rest!!! SO I know what u are going thru
