19-7-2008 - Little Tony's 2 Month Checkup

Well yesterday was little Tony's 2 month checkup, and I have to say it went really well! He weighed 13lbs 9oz and was 23 inches long. He's growing right along the curve, so that's good. The doctor was pleased with how he's eating and sleeping, and said everything looked wonderful with him. He's eating 7oz of formula with 2 teaspoons of cereal every 5 hours during the day, and goes down for the night around 8pm, sleeps until around 2am and wakes to eat, then goes right back to sleep until around 8am. Of course he gets his little naps in his swing throughout the day too. I really don't know what I would do without that swing! It has been the most useful thing we got him!!! He loves playing in his play gym too (yeah, the one I got for $15!!) But he most of all loves sitting on your lap and just "talking" to you. He smiles and laughes and coos, and it's the most precious thing ever. He also got 4 shots at this appointment, which was horrible. He cried like he's never cried before, and I couldn't wait to pick him up and cuddle him and tell him it's ok. But he took his little band-aids and Tylenol and went on with his day. He ran a fever for a few hours, but that's about it.

Dispite everything that's happening with our family right now, I know things will be ok. With all of you thinking of us and praying for us and sending us your love, I know we're going to be alright. God has a reason for everything He does, so I'm just accepting that maybe this is part of His plan for our family. Love you all!!!
