25-6-2008 - Only 7 1/2 weeks left to go! OkMy mood while writing this blog:
Ok

It is hard to believe that in 7-8 weeks there will be a tiny helpless baby begging for my every minute, every ounce of energy, plus another precious little almost 2 year old who will need to be told how much we love him and cuddled as well! So many changes! I have to say that I think this pregnancy has been easier than the first; I am more comfortable sleeping so far, the heartburn has been less, the MS lasted a shorter time and my numb spot in the ribs is not as intense. I have only gained about 12 lbs to date; and with the first one it was only 16 lbs in total. My son is aware of the baby coming and likes to kiss my belly button (SO CUTE!), but I am sure he will not know what hit him when it becomes a reality. He is so much fun now; he seems to be phasing out naps, but if I don't force a nap every day and try to play with him as best I can, he is a very happy little guy. I love all his little quirks (like sleeping in the chair and not his bed, playing with my oven mitts and dragging the cookie cooling rack around, learning how to count 1-2-3-6-9-10, saying "night-night" and "wuv you" when I put him to bed, I could go on....). The frustation and fatique of the first few months seem a distant memory now, although we will be thrown into it all again soon enough. When I get frustrated with him, I am trying apprecite and savour every minute I have alone with him, letting him know that he will always be my big, special boy and I love him to bits. Oh, and my husband is pretty awesome too!
