02-1-2009 - New Years Night!

My mood while writing this blog: Challenged

Ok so ... The night had already started a little quarky because I was so sleepy for some reason but I was going to bring in the New Year at church of course. I was soooo hungry that i fried some fish and went upstairs to take a nap. I set my alarm for 9:30pm church services starts at 10pm. Of course I did not put the alarm on the function that causes the loud BBBBBBBBBzzzzzzzz BBBBBBBBBBBBzzzzzzzzz BBBBBBBBBBBzzzz ... I put it on the radio which I could barely hear over the t.v.!!!! So, I hop up look at the clock and see 10:30pm ... I jump out the bed fix up my hair throw on my clothes, fix up my face of course and head out the door. I got to church at about 10 to 11...

After service was over ... I put on my coat and grabbed my bag to do my greetings with my church family while making my way to the door. Low and behold ... I run into an older lady up in the church couldn't have been a day younger than 65 if that. She had her black hat on with her long black coat, and her big wide scarf wrappred fashionably around her shoulders with her sparkling broach! She looked at me and said "You are so cute!" She then opened her arm out for me as a pass to walk in front of her. Now ladies ... I know Im a round bowl of baby fun ... BUT I BELIVE THE OLD LADY THOUGHT SHE COULD MOVE FASTER THAN ME AND THAT I SHOULD GO AHEAD OF HER!!!! I could beat her in a race to the car ANY NIGHT!!!! I said now I know she didn't try to play me like I aint' quick.

When I got to my car I realized I had been pushed to the front by a old lady ... Now how you like that? Maybe I should warm up my track shoes because obviously I need to move a little quicker... *smile*
