18-5-2009 - Pregnancy pains! 18/05/09

My mood while writing this blog: Sore

Well on Wednesday 29th April I found out I was having a little girl & I am absolutely over the moon as thats what I really wanted, everyone was telling me not to find out the sex but I am far too nosy & just had to. Most importantly the scan went really well & the baby is perfect & no sign of abnormality but I had to return on the Friday as she was hiding her face & the sonographer couldn't check for facial abnormalities (naughty baby,she's definetely mine) & on the Friday she turned round & was sucking her thumb - adorable!

My 1st blog & it's a complaint about pain - typical but I have had a bad back for the past couple of days & have hardly moved out of my bed & have been sleeping for the majority! It's not just the bad back though, it's pains I'm getting whilst attempting to sleep, including sore shoulder from lying on my side, - sleeping is an issue for me though & I wake up quite a few times during the night for long periods of time which makes me knackered the following day.

I know I shouldn't complain & pregnancy is meant to be wonderful but at times I do feel a bit miserable & wish that time went a bit quicker, I still get sickness in the morning occasionally aswell which contributes to my feelings of misery but then all that changes when I feel her kicking around in there, right now she is dancing about & I love when she reminds me she is here - I'll suffer all the pain possible for her!
