10-6-2009 - Update @ 26weeks

My mood while writing this blog: Upbeat & feeling good

Ok so 26weeks & feeling relatively good about everything. I have managed to sort out a few things that were bothering me (male issues) & feel like I can move forward & concentrate on my baby girl -

For example, I wrote a blog last month regarding my ex & stated that I missed him & wanted him back but recently a mutual friend of ours informed me that he has been going off the rails a bit recently & has been going on drink & drugs benders for days at a time & all his friends are worried about him but he won't listen. This is not the man I knew & loved for ten years (still do) & am glad that I took the advice of all the ladies who commented on my blog & didn't contact him as I don't want to bring my beautful baby girl up around that (just like to point out that I am no angel & in my teenage years I took my fair share of recreational drugs but I grew up) I still love & care for him but I love my unborn baby more.

Also, I heard from the babys father last night (he is currently working in Paris for 6weeks) he told me that he wants us to get back & raise our daughter together - He's a great guy & has been nothing but supportive since we found out about the baby but I don't know if I can concentrate on pregnancy & a relationship as pregnancy is just taking all my energy, I told him this & he said he will wait as long as it takes, just don't want him putting his life on hold thats all.

Pregnany gripes this week:

* Heartburn - still here ruining my life

* Dry, crusty nose - What is with that?

* Kicking - It's lovely but she whacked me right in the ribs last night & it bloody hurt

Thats it really, the only other thing is that twice yesterday I felt really dizzy & was getting fuzzy vision whilst @ my desk @ work & got the feeling that If I had been standing I would of passed out. I posted it as a question on the forum yesterday & was informed by quite a few ladies that It could be to do with my blood pressure so have my 26week appt on Friday and will speak to the doctor then.
