23-6-2009 - 28weeks - good times!

My mood while writing this blog: Feeling mint:)

Girlies,

Excited to be at 28weeks today & had doctors appt this morning which confirmed that everything is progressing well & baby is head down which is great. Glucose & protein was checked & heard the babys heartbeat ( I love hearing it) I need to go next week & have some more blood taken (starting to look like a bloody pincushion) & then got to go up to the hospital on the 1st July to have the heart monitor fitted also they want to do some swabs as I haven't had any yet.

I finished work last week which was the best thing I have done in ages, they kept changing their mind about what was going on (whether they were going to relocate or not) & it was stressing me out so I am on holiday at the moment as have to use the rest of my holiday entitlement before I go on maternity so have nearly a month holiday & then start maternity. However I am bored already, after Jeremy Kyle & Trisha there is nothing to do (as much as I love the Jermey Kyle show, I can't stand him & would love to punch him in the face - patronising twat) both my sisters & all my mates are @ work so yesterday just watched tennis all afternoon - don't know if I can do this for another 3months!!

On a funny note, I sort of fell down the stairs the other night but didn't fall on bump - I got up in the early hours of the morning & really wanted a drink, I wasn't wearing anything but everyone else was in bed so just sneaked downstairs without putting on the landing light & I was still half asleep & sort of skipped down the stairs (ha ha, I'm laughing hysterically @ the moment replaying it in my head) but my foot slipped & I landed on my bum & went down about 6 stairs on my bum, wearing no clothes then got to the bottom of the stairs & the dog was looking at me so strangely & I started laughing to myself - also have carpet burns on my butt!

Pregnancy gripes this week:

* Anger issues - find myself getting really riled over stupid little things

* Lack of clothing - Nothing fits me & I really don't want to have to buy maternity clothes so living in my

primark dresses (thank god the weather is good)

* Visits to the loo - Very rarely have I ever had to get up in the middle of night to go to the loo before &

am doing it a lot now!
