| 01-7-2009 - Update @ 29weeks | My mood while writing this blog:Finally lovin pregnancy |
Wow 29weeks & am feeling pretty damn good this week - I feel like I have a lot of energy & have really been looking after myself recently making sure I am eating a lot better & drinking lots of water, not that I was neglecting myself before but I felt so awful for such a long time that just keeping myself going was my main concern!
I had to go for some blood tests yesterday morning & then today I had a call from the doctors saying that I am anaemic & that they had a prescription for me for iron tablets so have started taking them ( I suffered with anaemia as a child so am not really surprised) & need to start eating lots of red meat & spinach (uugghhh, hate spinach) but when they rang I was panicked as thought maybe something was wrong with the baby.
I have got everything I need for baby Isla now & she is going to be one spoilt baby, all I need to do now is get the nursery together but as I am off work now I have plenty of time to do that. My baby shower is going to be on 1st August, my best mate Danielle is organising it (little sweetheart she is) & we r going to have a bbq in the back garden & I can't wait to have all my favourite girls together for a little party.
Also, me & the babys father are going to give things another go, we are going to take it slow but I am really happy about it & if it doesn't work out then we are very good friends so what we got to lose? Thanks to everyone for the good advice about it on my last blog - I really appreciate it girls mwah!
The only other thing I have to talk about is the weather in England @ the moment, it is so hot it is becoming unbearable, as I type I am sitting in my knickers with all the windows open & the fan blowing straight @ me & it's half ten @ nite for christs sake - I don't want to complain about it as normally our weather is crap but apparently it is going to be 41degrees tomorrow & being pregnant in that kind of heat just isn't fun but am going swimming tomorrow so it might cool me down a bit!
Pregnancy gripes this week:
* Thrush - Its back & it's so damn irritating
* Lackof sleep - Am beginning to think I will never have a good nights sleep again - EVER
Thats all folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
