| 22-7-2009 - Week 32 baby - yeah! | My mood while writing this blog:Feel like a balloon - but a happy one |
Hey chicks,
Week 32 & finally feel like I'm getting somewhere, maybe this baby will be born this side of xmas after all! Still only put on 6pounds this pregnancy, which doesn't seem a lot compared to other women in this stage but am eating well & doctor says that baby Isla is the size she should be so maybe I shouldn't worry so much! Just wondered if anyone after they have eaten feel like they are going to explode? I have just had my dinner (sausage casserole, homemade, tasted shit-hot) & I can not move off my sofa, I can't even move to get the remote control hence why I am stuck watching Judge Judy nnnooooooooooooooooooo!
I should mention swine flu really as when I was on holiday there were 25 suspected cases @ my hotel so when I got back I booked an appt @ the doctors & got the all clear, maybe a waste of time but put my mind @ rest anyhow - I don't quite know what to make of it as it was all over the news that pregnant women should avoid going out (yeah right, as if pregnancy isn't boring enough we have to stay in like lepers) & then they said that we should go about our daily business as we usually would, I must admit when someone coughs or sneezes near me I move away pronto!
Got a midwife appt next Monday (finally) so have a few questions I need to ask her, have only seen a midwife once since I fell pregnant as there is a shortage in the UK so been going to the doctors to have my check ups, seems as if u are not high risk they don't want to know but suits me really as I hate being poked & prodded anyway!
My hips have started to play me up again though, maybe it's common @ this stage of pregnancy???? I felt like my legs were going to give way yesterday!
Oh my god, I saved a hedgehog yesterday - I was out walking my dog Samson & he started barking whilst we were down the field & when I went over to where he was there was a hedgehog lying on his side & it looked like he had injured his back legs so I came home & rung the rspca & they told me I needed to get him in a box to monitor him & they would come pick him up, well I wasn't amused as they are covered in fleas but then a nice italian man down the rd lifted him into my crisp box & I brought him home & gave him some water & cat food which he started to eat & drink (bless him he must of been starving) & then rspca came to get him & I think he's going to be alright - my good deed of the day!
Pregnancy gripes:
* Difficulty breathing - Feel like there is not enough room in my tummy anymore
* Difficulty sleeping- Still having trouble drifting off
* Boredom - Am so bored!!!!!!! There is only so much cleaning & tidying u can do
Anyway girls thats me for this week. Hope everyones well!xxx
