06-10-2009 - Isla 18days old!x

My mood while writing this blog: Happy but tired

Hi everyone,

Not been on here much since my little girl was born but thought I would just write a quick blog to update! Took her to be weighed at the clinic this morning & she now weighs 8pounds 7ounces (she has put on 1pound 51/2 ounces in 18days) she absolutely loves her food & was breastfeeding her but had to start her on formula as I couldn't keep up with the demand - little milk monster she is! She is a good baby & only wakes up twice a night for food & to be changed & goes straight back to sleep but last night she was a little girzzly & woke up three times but I can live with that!

My days seem to fly by at the moment, after I have fed her, changed her, made up her bottles, changed the steralizing water & cleaned her utensils it is nearly the afternoon so then I take her out in the pram for a walk & my day is nearly over!

It was my birthday on Saturday (I turned 28) & my Mum looked after Isla for the night & I went out with all my friends for a drink & it was great, got very drunk & had such a hangover the next day but at least I didn't have to get up & do the night feeds!

Well thats about it really, sorry to everyone that have blogged & I haven't replied but I will reply to everyone within the next week! Much love to everyone!x
