Just got back from my second ultrasound. It's not good. It looks like it's a missed miscarriage. There is no change in size and just as before no solid heartbeat besides what they still think is my own. They are doing HCG blood tests to confirm, and I will have a choice of waiting out the miscarriage or having a DNC. I will probably opt for the DNC so I can just have it done with. The Dr is pretty sure it's due to the MTHFR mutation. She said that I will probably go back to the maternal fetal medicine specialist who will probably put me on Heparin(sp?) which is a blood thinnner, and if I get pregnant again they will probably try progesterone as well.
I'm doing ok..I had a few tears on the way home, but I was expecting this. I'm just glad if it was going to happen, that it happen now instead of further down the road like last time. I'm not ready to give up yet either.

So sorry to hear this. I understand your feeling about better now than later, but it is still tough. What is the MTHFR mutation? Is that what they think happened in the last pregnancy too? I will still be praying for you, and keep me posted.

I am so sorry about your loss. I also went through a m/c. No matter how early it happend it is still heartbreaking. I am so glad that you are not giving up. I know it can feel like it is never going to happen for you but have faith, it will happen. It took me 5 years. Well let me know when you start trying again, maybe we can ttc together! I will pray for you and your family.
