16-7-2009 - 29w (pre-eclampsia?)

Another Thursday, another ultrasound! Baby is doing just fine. He passed his Biophysical Profile, and my BP and quick dip urine test looked good. I wonder if I even have pre-e now! The Dr is very happy with my progress, but she stresses that we arent out of the water yet. I told her my personal goal was 30weeks, and I said it looks like I will pass that no problem. She said well your new goal is now 34 weeks, because that's the point when a baby born early should have no complications.

Bubs had his head down. Boy can I tell! Ive felt so heavy and super sore in the bones! Im GLAD Im on bedrest! It hurts to get up and walk. I feel sorry for those that have jobs that keep them on their feet or moving around a lot! The ultrasound tech didnt do a growth on him, that's next week, but I got her to measure his foot for me. 5.7cm!! Thats about 2 and 1/4 inches!

Not much else to report though. There is a guy coming soon to measure for carpet in the baby's room. I cant wait till its done so I can start getting things together in there! Hope everyone is doing well and staying cool! I love my AC :)

yay! So glad to hear it, and 34 weeks is right around the corner! Enjoy your bedrest (Im one of those gals who has to be on her feet, event planner, going to impose bedrest on myself pretty soon, LOL)

Good for you on reaching week 29 (almost 30)...that's fantastic! Keep up the good bedrest! Hope you are catching up on some girlie movies and good books!

Glad you are doing so well!!! and hey if the pre-e is not really there no more that borning bedrest is doing the trick!!! keep it up at least another 5 weeks!!!! we are here for you!!!!!

Sounds as if everything went great. Congrads!!! Keep going day by day week by week before you know it you will be at 36 wks and everything will be a ok. Your both doing wonderfully. So happy for you.

I was told the something about pre-e and with the weeks. Just keep your head up, things will work out in the end. I'll be 34 weeks very shortly and as of now they are hoping to stretch for 36 weeks. Good Luck!
