Sebastian is off all oxygen now, and all his tubes and IV's are out except the nasal feeding tube. They are only keeping that just in case. He gets fed by bottle now and they monitor his respiratory rate before/during his feeding to make sure it stays normal. If his RR is too high, they feed him by tube, but so far since yesterday, he's been nothing but bottle!
Brendan and I got to finally hold him and feed him tonight, it was awesome :)
Baring any setbacks with his breathing, he will be home Friday!
I'm still hardly getting anything with pumping. I'm going to see the lactation consultant tomorrow. I called her and she was very surprised when I told her I was only getting a couple MILLILITERS in a 24 hour period. She asked if I had any thyroid or PCOS issues, which I don't. She said to come see her, but I should also talk to my general doctor. Sooo frustrating! I really wanted to breastfeed, but I just KNEW while I was pregnant something wasn't right with my BBS. He's getting what little I am producing, but I hate that I probably won't ever produce enough for him.

wait until you put him on your breast a few time before you give up.....it may be just that you need the stimulation, plus the worry also reduces your flow........take a long hot shower, relax, take some milk suppliment tabs, and let him have a few tries with NO PRESSURE for either of you....Breathe and relax.......

that's wonderful that he's off the oxygen!!! don't give up hope yet on the breastfeeding! i'm sure they'll have several avenues for you to try to get it up and running. a few mls shows that SOMETHING is coming, you might just need a tablet to get it flowing like others have suggested and had.
