Sebastian is finally home! Let me tell you, he is SOO easy to care for! He hardly cries. He only really gets frustrated when he's hungry and mommy is trying to feed him with her broken BBS and he doesn't get anything lol. This little man is a piggy! The NICU nurses told us he gets really crazy when it's time to eat, and boy does he! He roots all over the place and sucks down the first ounce of his bottle like a mad man! After a good burp, and he's so easy to burp too, he goes for the rest and usually does 3 - 3 1/2 ounces every 3-4 hours. The nurses told us to let him have as much as he wants when he wants, but he stays pretty strict to the same schedule as he had in the NICU.
The only problem I have is him keeping his feet still when I'm trying to change his diaper! I think he knows he's about to get something to eat so he gets excited lol
After he eats and has his last burp, I love to just hold him and look at him, since he usually stays awake for about 20 mins before falling asleep while being rocked. If you hum to him he gets so interested and focuses on you, it's soo cute! There's just nothing like it!
He was a little grumpy right when we brought him home because we screwed up his schedule while we were getting discharged. They had to do his carseat test to make sure his oxygen levels were good while in a carseat for 30 mins. He was getting angry because the picture lady woke him up for pictures beforehand and it was also time to eat, but we wanted to get him home and breastfeed, so we only gave him enough formula to calm him down. At home he was a little grumpy and didnt want to sleep, so after eating we tried his swing, since the nurses said he loved it there. He sure does! He went right to sleep. By the next feeding we were all sorted out and happy again.
Still trying to get good at changing his diaper..I'm just waiting for the time I get peed or pooed on. He apparently has some good aim in both of those departments according to the nurses lol.

Congrats! I'm so happy your little boy has joined you at home :) Logan has put his foot in a poopy diaper several times lol, and when he pees when I'm changing him it goes straight to his face, not mine. Poor baby!
