31-8-2008 - Nursery Furniture :)

My mood while writing this blog: Happy

We are both very very happy with our nursery furniture, I wrote the previous blog while very upset, because my mother flaked on me, After the flaking incident hubby and I went to Babies'R'Us and we searched for the furniture we would like to get baby. What do you know! We found it!! The store had a very good sale that day too, so u just lucked out u could say, The only thing was, was that we didn't really have the funds to get it at that time, and after looking into the stores credit card info, The APR was going to be WAY too high.. So that was kind of a no go.. The next day after not talking to my mom for a few days I called her just to say hi and express to her how excited I was and how let down I was after she flaked... I then told her that hubby and I found the furniture set, but didn't excatly know how we would pay for it, & she says * when can u get it? I said whenever we want, i would like to get it during the sale going on, So she says. WELL get it and as soon as the bill comes i'll pay it off, I say in disbelief REALLY??? Are you serious, she says oh yes!

The next day Hubby and I decided to go get the furniture, & it was all in stock!!! Wow! Is this to good to be true? We picked up the dresser/changing table combo in our Chevy TrailBlazer, but that was all we could fit, so we drove home dropped off the combo, then proceeded to drive our pick-up truck back up to get the remaining furniture :) Hubby was so excited, he called friends to have them help unload, but wouldn't ya know he got it all unloaded all by himself.. Later that day he had a friend come over to help life it upstairs. UGh that was a chore! The furniture is beautiful! We couldn't be any happier :) More to tell later but fingers r getting tired of typing. lol.. Hope ya'll are doing great!
