19-1-2009 - 34 week blog.. Now 39 weeks :)

My mood while writing this blog: wonderful

November 18th 2007, the day after my 24th birthday. After much talk between Brian and I, We decided to start trying to concieve. I wanted to get off my BCP (birth control pills) in advance considering I didn't want any of it to interfere with baby if I were to concieve right away.

Brian & I were living in the duplex that most of you know. Talks had been happening about moving out and stop paying into something we we're not going to own in the future, so it happened that we got offered to move into the laws house in early 2008 and in the time being we would rent from them and in the future we would buy their home. It's funny how things worked out after we packed all of our belongings and boy do we have a lot of belongings.. lol. and moved into our new home.

Brian and I celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary and 8 years together on April 21st 2008 in the new home, It worked out perfect, a week or two later around mothers day we found our black lab puppy *Bubba* and brought him home, Not knowing that I was pregnant :) A few weeks later the end of May I had mentioned to Brian that I had a feeling that maybe I could be pregnant, So June 1st rolled around and I took that test.. A flow of emotions when right away the test said I was in fact Pregnant :)

It's kind of funny, When we were living in the duplex Brian had mentioned to me many of times that we should start our family, But I said to him *Brian I will get Pregnant when u move me out of this duplex* Ha ha. And so It happenend just as I predicted..

We couldn't be any more excited to be expecting our first child in January... :)

I feel I have had a wonderful pregnancy! I had NO morning sickness thank goodness!! It's strange to say but of the majority of my pregnany I really haven't felt like I was even growning a baby inside of my body. I've been full of energy most days* The only main complaint I have is the fact that these hormones have had my emotions up in the air.. I will be fine one minute then the next watch out cause I might be crying.. lol.. Which is not like me, I hardly ever cry!!!

The joys of feeling my baby kick me is like nothing I would ever expected.. I smile everytime, Isn't that strange? I smile when I get kicked from the inside. ha ha.. But it is truly a wonderful feeling.

Oh, How the time has flown! 34 weeks and 1 day. I cannot wait to see my darling baby girl! Wishful thinking that maybe I will have her before my actual due date but only she can decide when to come. I'am getting excited about labor. Funny it sounds I know, even more so that I am set on having a natural birth! All the ppl I tell that to think i'm a crazy woman, But the way I feel about it makes it a labour of love. Heck our grandmas didn't have epidurals.. lol. If all goes well I should be holding my baby Ashlyn in 6 weeks :)

I wish I would have blogged every week, on the new things I had experienced during this Pregnancy, But it just has not worked out that way. So here I am getiing close to my due date as I recall the pre-pregnancy days and how those days are long gone and how our lives are going to change after our daughter is born! I am ready for it!!! I have the best husband in the world! How I got lucky with him I will never really know, I do know that he is going to be a great father and I can't wait for him to look his daughter in the eye's be amazed at what him and I created together!!!
