What day did you find out?: January 3, 2008
How did you feel when you found out?: ecstatic and thankful!
Who was with you?: I was on the phone with Tom in the other room.
Who was the first person you told?: Tom, but he overheard me anyway
How did they react?: nervousness and excitement
How did the daddy react?: exactly as I thought he would
Telling the grandparents!
How did your parents react?:
My mom cried and got excited cause it's her first grandchild. My dad isn't alive but he would've been thrilled.
How did his parents react?: lots of excitement
Are they helping with baby names?: We didn't ask for opinions
Have they bought anything for the baby yet?: A few outfits and a baby bible :)
How often do they call to check on u?: they don't but I talk to my mom often anyway
About the pregnancy!
When was your first appointment?: January 15th was my first ultrasound/appt other than blood work
When is your due date?: September 14, 2008
How far along are you?: 26 weeks
Have you had an ultrasound?: I've had 6 and will be having them every 2-3 weeks now
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes and it's so amazing
What was the heartbeat?: It was 139 the last time.
Sex of the baby!
What do u want?: I am not picky :)
What does the daddy want?: Same, we've waited long enough that we don't mind either!
What do u think u r having?: I would've sworn it's a boy
Have u had ur big ultrasound yet?: Yes
If so, what r u having?: Girl!
Are u happy with what u r having?: definitely
About the birth!
Do u know what u r taking with u?: not yet cause we don't have everything yet
Who is going to be with u?: Tom
Are u going to videotape it?: No, but I want a regular camera for right after
Natural or medicated?: It depends on what happens
Do u think u will need a c-section?: there's a 50-50 chance
Will u cry with u hold ur baby for the first time?: maybe but I will probably be a giggler...from excitement
Do u know what u will say to the baby when u first hold him/her?: probably something like "you've been worth the wait"
Are u scared about the labor?: I don't like not knowing what I will experience but I'm not scared.

Girl names...: Abigail Rose
Boy names...: would've been Luke Thomas
Is ur baby going to be named after someone?: Rose is after Tom's mom.

Where was ur baby conceived?: the day of our anniversary (dec 21) at home
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes since around week 17 but a lot stronger now
What race will your baby have? caucasian
Do you have stretch marks?: yes but not from pregnancy
What was your first symptom?: cramping
What music or interests do you want the baby to know?: I would love for her to adore music as we do but I don't mind what.
Will ur baby have godparents?: Not sure
