31-5-2008 - 37 Weeks - Considered full term Still the happiest woman aliveMy mood while writing this blog:
Still the happiest woman alive

Well here we are in week 37, and it wont be long now! The baby is now engaged, I can feel the difference in my walking and the pressure on my bladder.

I keep having minor labour pains, nothing constant that make me believe that I am in full labour, but once they start getting closer together, then I will definately worry/get excited.

Our bags (mine and my son to be) are packed and ready by the door, we are almost fully prepared, the only thing that we havent done, is to have a snack pack ready, just incase it carries on into the wee hours of the morning and we find ourselves hungry at the hospital. I have loved packing little outfits for my little cutie, I cried when choosing his first clothes to wear and then his coming home outfit.

We have now got the whole entire house spotless and fully prepared for the baby! All that is left is to place the car seat as legally required into the car for the little ones arrival. My parents have bought their airline tickets for the expected delivery date, so here is hoping that I either have the baby on time or before. If I go over my dates (which is just bloody likely for my kind of luck) then it will have been a shame that they will have missed meeting their grandson.

Next update will hopefully be when I am a mummy with a beautiful baby boy at home with us. I promise to write the truth about the labour - Good and bad, and what I used to help me cope. And what items I took to the hospital that I didnt need, and ones that were a godsend.

Good luck all you mummies out there, we have been truly blessed to be able to give the gift of life.
