| 12-7-2008 - omg this is going to be a very long pregnancy | My mood while writing this blog:worried |
Well good news bad news and in between news....
lets start with the good news... went and had my NT scan on wednesday and everything was great! Doc said my baby is the healthiest hed seen in a long time but he is still concerned about the fact that my placenta is covering my cervix and said not to worry about it too much unless i have bleeding cause it usualy moves up by 20 weeks as the uterous gets bigger (i hope it does!)
in between news.... mums house is being sold and she has to move (shes realy pissed off about that) they told daad he could buy it for a cool million and he told them where to go cause half the foundation (essentialy half the house) is very slowly sinking!
bad news.... as usual when i have bad news its realy bad news.... at 10 weeks my BP was "normal" at 110/80 and now at just 13 weeks after 3 days in a row of feeling like i wanted to feint when i did the shopping (nothing major just getting bread and milk or something for dinner) i went in and saw my mate at the chemist who did my BP then and there for me and it was 145/85! its not going down and my Doc is getting worried cause i had realy bad pre eclamsia when i had my son and it almost killed me, he was fine but i was realy srewed for a while there. The fact that its presenting this early is a real worry, things didnt start to go bad with Luka till i was 28 weeks or so.+
ive been put on compleate bed rest (no more shopping cooking cleaning anything!) untill further notice and have been warned this will probley be the case till bub is born.
he estimated me to be on beta blockers again by 20 weeks and that a delivery between 28 and 34 weeks is a real possibility and to start preparing my self for that now....
well gee what can you say to that! my hospital is the best available and their NICU is exalent so im just going to have to pray for the best i spose...
We have decided that after this baby, even if she doesnt make it, we cant risk another pregnancy and my husband is getting the snip. We have to think about our son and how hard it would be on him without his mummy, and as much as i realy wanted more kids its not worth my life and possibly theirs as well. Pregnancy just does not agree with me...
Ironic realy when you think that i was going through med school when i fell pregnant with Luka and was going to go on the be either a cariologist, neonatologist or perinetologist.
