14-10-2009 - pre-eclampsia

My mood while writing this blog: scared

well i went to the midwife yesterday for my 38 weeks appt thinking it was all gonna go smoothly then she did my b/p and tested my urine ect and it came back that i have strangely high blood pressure and protein in my urine i have also been complaining to her about swellings in my hands, feet and face all the signs or pre eclampsia so i have to go back next week for another appt so im stuck in limbo atm i dont know whether i have it or not if i should be worried i just really cant relax at the moment....

Hey, well hopefuly you dont. my firend she didnt get it until she was actually in labor. I am worried I am going to have it because I have been swelling REALLY bad. They said that as long as my BP stays down i'll be ok but they are going to keep an eye on it. Its scary not knowing, i wish you the best of luck.
