09-10-2008 - God is STILL in Control! & MySpace Anyone?

My mood while writing this blog: optimistic

I am learning to just remember how much our God loves me and He wants to take all my issues away, but He knows I need them to grow into a better person. Its like when we see our kids taking forever to do a simple chore, we could swoop in there and do it...but did they learn to do it? Persistance makes results. So God lets us struggle. I have to be thankful for the little things in this world. I have a home, I could say a home that is drafty and needs many cosmetic repairs or I could say I have a home with a great roof, a newer furnace to keep us warm & newer windows to keep the rain out. I could complain Erin is in our bedroom with us or I could thank God we have a big enough house that the other 3 kids aren't sleeping in our room.

Thanks for the words of encouragement from those that wrote me. I was not complaining, I just was rejoicing that I am not in control. What a relief!
