04-10-2009 - Labour Bag All Packed Yet?? HappyMy mood while writing this blog:
Happy

Hello ladies,

Hope you are all well! I can't believe we are getting so close!! Not too much longer to go. Hope all of you are feeling good.. I am sure we are all so excited to meet our little ones! I am doing great, no complaints really. A few back aches at night and troubles sleeping, but it's to be expected with this big belly! I seem to be nesting these days and the anticipation of whether our little bean is a boy or girl is getting to me big time! We are so close now though!! It's s hard not knowing and wanting to be totally organized and ready.... It is going to be soooo worth it though. I have a family baby shower on Saturday, so I think after that I will feel a little bit better about having everything I need for when he or she arrives.

Have you packed your bags yet? I know after next weekend I will really feel like I should be packed just incase. I was born at 33 weeks and both my brother & sister were 4 and 2 weeks early as well... so just incase I go into labour in the next few weeks - I better have my bag ready! I really don't want to over pack or forget anything so I have a question for you gals who are packed already or who have done this once or twice :0). What are one or two things you would never want to forget? What kind of pj's did you find yourself most comfortable in and easy to breastfeed in while staying at the hospital overnight? What did you feel most comfortable going home in? It will be quite cold here when baby arrives.. It is SNOWING here today already!! :(

Your advice is greatly appreciated!!

HUGS to all!! xx

I didnt bring my own jammas... I just stayed in my hospital gown. The sides unsnapped so it made it easy to breastfeed while at the hospital and I had to stay 48hrs. The only thing I used that I brought was my tolietries obviously and my slippers. I gave birth to my daughter in November in Alaska so the slippers were awsome. :)
