05-10-2009 - 32.5 Weeks - 1st OB Appointment!! GoodMy mood while writing this blog:
Good

Good morning, beautiful ladies!!

So I have been seeing my family doctor ever since we found out we were pregnant and now I am finally meeting the doctor (OB) that will hopefully deliever our little bean. Our first appoinment with her is this afternoon. What should I expect? Will it be much different then seing my family doctor do you think?? I don't know why I am so nervous to meet her. I guess it means we are just that much closer to meeting our little bean. It is pretty late in my pregnancy to be just starting to see her it seems but everything has been going well with my pregnancy so far so thats a good thing. I wasn't supposed to see her until the 28th of Oct. - which would put me at almost 36 weeks.... but she moved my appointment up after looking at my file and noticing the family pattern of the ladies on my side of the family delivering babies early. I was born 7 weeks ealry. Crazy!! At least I will have a few more appointments with her hopefully to ask her all my questions and go over our birth plan.

I am sure everything will be fine.... just nervous today!!!

HUGS to all!! Hope you are having a wonderful Monday!

With my daughter, I saw my general practioner until I was 36 weeks...at which time I went over to the Army hospital I would be delivering at and had appts with an OB. It really wasn't much different that seeing my GP. My GP still measured my fundal height and listened to the heartbeat and thats what they did at my OB appts. This time around I've been seeing an OB from day 1 and he does the same thing as my GP did with my daughter. (I was worried at first because I was afraid with it being my first because I wasn't seeing an OB from day 1, but my GP was awsome and I couldn't have asked for a better, easier pregnancy the first time). GOOD LUCK~!!! I hope your OB is nice and everything goes as planned. :)
