20-10-2009 - Baby Monitors??? tiredMy mood while writing this blog:
tired

Hello ladies!

Hope all of you are doing well and feeling as good as can be during these last few weeks! I am getting so excited to meet our little bean!! I really still feel that it's a little boy growin in my belly!! I would die if it was a girl..I want to buy pink so bad!! Can't wait to find out!!!

I have a question for you girls, video monitor or no video??? I'm not convinced video is needed... but of course my hubby thinks it's cool. Lets be real here.. do we really need to spend the extra money to be able to watch your kid on TV? Is it worth it? Have any of you bought one?

Your opinions are greatly appreciated!! I can't make up my mind on ANYTHING these days!! Never been this indecisive in my life!! lol...

I have gone out and brought just a sound monitor. I thought that if we brought one with a video monitor on aswell, We would become quite obsessive and be continually looking at it to check that baby was ok. Which means that we would of never have any shut off time. At the end of the day i think a sound monitor is perfectly adequate for what we will need it for. But it is entirely up to you and how you feel about it all.

i personally are on your side and don't think that you need one. my son slept in my room for the first few months and then we just used a regular monitor and i found it to be ok...it's up to you though!!
