My mood while writing this blog: Excited!!!

So I called to schedual my ultra sound today but my mom is complaining saying it is to early and the dr said to do it at 20 weeks. But I was to excited to listen to him. He already gave me the perscription and all I heard was call and make an appointment. LOL. Do you think it is to early??? Should I change it or leave it??? I don't think it is to early and have heard it is possible starting at 16 weeks and I will be 17 weeks on my appointent. Help!!! I don't want her to say I told you so. LOL

I got the orders from my dr when I was 13 weeks and he told me to make the ultrasound apt for 20 because there are certain things they need to check and make sure are developing and they can't be seen clearly on ultrasound until 20 weeks. I have been waiting almost 6 weeks for the ultrasound and still have 1 1/2 weeks to go but it will be worth the wait to make sure my lil one is doing ok. I would make the apt for at least 18 weeks if you just can't wait. My dr told me it was very important to make it as close to 20 as possible. Good Luck =) edit: after reading the other comments I saw that you just want to find out the gender and yes you can find out now as long as baby is in a good position. I found out at 14 weeks to the day 100% boy lol.

I have had friends that have gone at 16/17weeks to find out the sex and everything was fine:) YAY how exciting let us know how you go!!

if its your 1st u/s its not too early but if you want to know if its a boy/girl id wait until 20 weeks

Haha im going at my 16 week mark because i cant wait an extra 4 weeks!
