| 14-6-2009 - Rough Few Days... | My mood while writing this blog:ehhhh |
So my youngest child Kylie Turned 2 on April the 28th. She has been breast fed up until 3 days ago.
I decided to Stop nursing her because i do have a history of Premature labor, and i would like to keep This baby in as long as possible While and after she nursed my tummy was getting crampy. So it scared me.
Ethan Kyle was born at 36 weeks. 7 pounds 8 oz
Jayla Christine was born at 33 weeks 5 Pounds 6 oz(nurses shocked how big she was)
Seth Jordan was born at 38 weeks (bed rests lots of shots and pills to stop labor went into labor at 6 months) 8 pounds 6 oz
Kylie Elisabeth started laboring at 32 weeks but doctor helped me keep her in until 37 weeks and 4 days. 8 pounds 3 oz
Doc says all babies would of be 10 pounders or over if i would of went full term.
The Tantrums she throws are soo heartbreaking. It sucks because i KNOW that if just let her nurse she'll be happy, but i also know that Its the best thing for us both. Hopefully i can get more rest this way as well. When she's throwing her "boobie tantrums" she scream "i wan boop" "gimme my boop" She pinches, kicks and Hits me, Bites me, and i just rub her back...try to calm her and she tells me NO NO BACK. It's sooo hard! MUCH WORSE WHEN ITS NAP OR BED TIME!
Yesterday was my husbands family reunion, and it was hot outside as well (was an outside reunion) twas a pretty busy day so she was entertained for a while but once we went inside to eat lunch. She was tired of course and the tantrums started. Every one there kept complimenting me on my patience. patience is a MUST when your a mom i say. I mean it's not only upseting her that she cant have boob...it upsets me too. I dont like seeing her upset.
WHY IS WEANING SO HARD? Cats and DOGS make it seem so easy! LOL
I just feel a bit overwhelmed at the moment, and it's making me want to NOT nurse the baby. I would pump and put it in a bottle. My other kids pretty much weaned themselves at 6 weeks. However KYLIE would NEVER take a bottle for me...she refused....she JUST recently started drinking out of a sippee cup really well.
I know this will get better in time. I just have to stay strong.
