Tanner Jason Powers has made it to his one year mark. In every post I just cannot believe how fast he is growing up. Every moment of every day is so bitter sweet. I watch him just soak in everything he is learning so much. At his 12 months check up - Weight: 24 pounds Height: 29 inches Head: 18.5 centimeters Got shots Vecella, Measles, and two others He has more than doubled his birth weight yay!! He self weened off breast feeding and started walking two weeks before he turned one years old. (Memorial day he started walking) In the past year he has accomplished so many things. From sitting up, crawling, standing, walking, running. Talking: Mama, Dada, Papa, Gmama, banana, ball, fan, light, bye bye (waves), that, Dink (drink), boooon (balloon), that, baby, mow mow (moms cat), tig (tiger cat), owl, Learning - Gives loves, gives/blows kisses, waves bye bye, points out people in pictures, point at things he see/knows/wants, puts shapes in their correct holes, trying to play with puzzles, loves looking at pictures in books, plays patty cake, Dances at all types of music. We have gotten him to bottles only at nap and bed time - and he eats all "big people" food too. Aunt Amber and Uncle Mike took Tanner to the zoo for the first time ( I was kinda bummed that it wasnt with Jason and myself, but he still had a good time and I am thankful that he has such great aunts and uncles!)
