22-10-2009 - 12 Weeks and Counting

I had a scan this week, and found out i am having a boy! Husband is clearly very excited. I saw 2 arms and 2 legs and was grateful it all looked normal but of course i wanted a little girl. So much more fun to shop for and so much more choice of gorgeous things!! Am feeling much better these days as Gaviscon has saved my life!! Reflux was killing me in the evenings but now i just take some after meals and am fine. Only problem is back ache. Sitting at a desk all day really takes it out of your lower spine. I am having physiotherapy and so far no good but will keep at it and praying it works!! Sciatica is a b*tch!! Generally looking forward to maternity leave which is many moons away but i know it will be amazing to be off work for a few months!! Boss isn't too impresse that i'm pregnant and i dont care anymore. Am also fully switched to maternity wear as i have such a big bump it's unbelievable and only at 12 weeks!!! GAP really do have the best things. Anyway, gonna stop plugging brands now and get back to work!!

Wow, congrats on finding out the gender.. I'm suprised they were able to tell at 12 weeks. I don't get my next u/s till around 20 weeks hopefully we'll get to find out then.. Good Luck :)
