07-11-2011 - update on my sister in law

Hi all,

I hope that you are doing well with your babies. I wanted to update you on my sister in law. She is currently going thru the in vitro fertilization process. They are blessed that both my Mom and her Mom are paying for their procedure. She has been taking hormone shots. Then they upped her dose of shots, (1200 dollars more) 2 shots in the morning and 1 in the evening. Then they upper her dose again (1200 big ones). Many sonograms later and things are looking up. She gave herself the trigger shot on Sunday. So, her egg retrieval will be on Tuesday. They will fertilize the eggs and watch them grow for 3-4 days. Then they should transfer them back into her either Friday or Sunday. She has 11 follicles that they can get eggs out of. Her estradiol (estrogen level) was 2340.

I am calling on my network for prayers for her for a successful in vitro process. Her name is Coleen. Your help is much appreciated. She should know by Thanksgiving if it worked.
