We'll ladies,
I was at lunch last week and was eating an egg roll. When I heard something go CRUNCH... Oh No, So, I checked my mouth, and I somehow broke a crown. I know.... On of all things.. an egg roll. Only part of it broke off though. So, I called my dentist and made an appointment a couple of days later. We'll, my dentist said that since I only broke the porcelain crown. I still have the metal covering my tooth. He said that since I was pregnant my gums are very sensitive, and they can bleed often. He would have to cut my gums a little higher in order to get a proper impression and replace the crown. He didnt want to cut my gums being pregnant. So, he suggested that I wait until after my pregnancy to have the crown replaced. I must say, that I was very surprised.
He also informed me that pregnant ladies need to be dilligent in keeping their teeth cleaned. He fussed at me for not flossing. I KNOW.... But, I hate to floss. Anyway, I told him that I would start flossing. He recommended that I use a water pick too. So, I bought one and have been using it. It is incredibly messy!!! I find myself having to wipe down the entire bathroom mirror and vanity.
My tooth is fine, and I have no pain. So, I suppose that I will just wait till after my little one comes. Hope you all have a great day:) Jo Jo
