| 19-4-2009 - belly pics! | My mood while writing this blog:happy |
Hi, I posted some old and new belly pics. It took me a while to get them posted. So, there are ones from 10,14, and 19 weeks posted.
It may not seem like there is much difference in the photos, but I assure you there is. My body has widened and stretched out in different places besides just my stomach. I have gained about 11 pounds! I normally watch everything that I eat and am very disciplined about my diet and exercise. I used to work about 4-5 times a week. We'll let's just say that all of that has gone out the window! I am eating all kinds of junk now and working about twice a week (if I feel like it). My hubby and stepchildren are trying to help me gain weight by trying to feed me more and offering me candy every night. It has gotten to be a little joke.
It's really wierd to see my body changing. At first, it was really difficult for me to put on the weight. Now, I am accepting it a little better. I just feel a lot bigger everywhere. I had to buy some bra extenders because my bra was cutting into me. Also, had to dig in my drawers for a larger cup size. Wow, what a difference the bra extenders have made. I feel much more comfortable. My butt and thighs are bigger too. Oh joy! NOT!!!!!!!!
I went to see my endochronologist (thyroid doctor) on Friday. He said my thyroid levels were a little high. I am hyperthyroid. That is where your body produces too much thyroid hormone. He said that I need to watch for other signs. Like, getting jittery, heart palputations, and decreased changes in my vision. Of course my prolactin level was increased. (prolactin is the hormone that makes us pregnant women lactate or our milk producer). He said my prolactin level for normal for being pregnant.
I am doing well.It has been a relaxing weekend for me and the hubby. The twins are at their mom's house this weekend. We have the boys during the week and their mom has visitation during the weekend.
We'll I had better go get dressed. The hubby and I are off to meet my cousin. We are going to be building a new house soon. So, we are taking our house plan to the ranch (house site) to decide where to place it on the property. My cousin and I are going to general contract it ourselves. You see my first husband (whom is deceased, and I general contracted custom homes on the side years ago. So, this will be me and my new husband's first and last house together. Because, we are building it on the ranch and we will never sell the property and never move. So, we have to make sure that we build it right the first time. It is very exciting, but I know that amount of work that I have ahead of me. I know.. I know... It's a lot to tackle while being pregnant too. We'll have a great weekend. What's left of it! baby dust to all!
