13-5-2009 - Mother\'s Day

My mood while writing this blog: happy

We'll I hope that everyone had a nice Mother's Day. It was a good day for me. I woke up and my hubby made me pancakes, bacon and OJ for breakfast. He also got me some bath and body works lotions and products. Then we loaded up the car and drove to my Mom's house. My brother and I cooked lunch for my Mom and family. We had T-Bone steaks, baked potatoes, salad, and corn and of course dessert. It was delicious!

We gave my mom her gifts. She loved them all. Then Mom and I then headed to town to the local arts and crafts fair. While my hubby and brother went to the field to shoot their guns and sight one of my step Dad's guns. We all had a blast and did exactly what we wanted to.

Then we picked up the twins (boys) and headed home. I made dinner for the boys and we had a relaxing evening at home. The boys surprised me with a candle and a home made card. It was really cute. They thanked me for taking care of them, cooking for them and washing their clothes! LOL>>>>>> Boys are funny.

I had my 5 month appointment on Monday, and everything was fine. I have gained about 15 lbs so far. OUCH... It sure is hard to put on the weight and watch the scale go up! My tummy is a little bigger. I can feel that some of the weight went to my boobs, butt and thighs. OH Joy!!!

My boy has been very active lately. Kicking and punching up a storm. My mom got to feel him kick on Mother's Day. She said it was the best present! This will be her first biological grand child. I kinda feel sorry for this baby, because it really only has one grand parent that is living. Since my father passed away and both of my in laws are deceased too. Not many grand parents gifts or birthday cards. My in laws left some land in a trust for all of their grand children. Each child will get 11 acres. The land hasn't been divided yet, but this baby will get 11 acres too which is on the family ranch.

They are building a new elementary school a few miles from the ranch. So, that is where our boy will go to school. My hubby said that he wants to drop off and pick up the child from school daily. So, yeah.... things are working out quite well. Our architect will have our house plans completed in about two weeks, and then we will start the building process very soon.

We'll everyone take care and have a great week! School is almost out for the boys and the hubby. They are all getting resteless.
