My mood while writing this blog: happy |
So, today is the last day of my vacation. Bummer. It was a great vacation, so I am sad to see it ending. We drove back from the coast today. So, we just unpacked and are washing our clothes. I'm not looking forward to going back to work. No doubt, I will have about 150 emails to catch up on. My hubby is a teacher so he gets the summer off, while I have a normal year round job.
I do have soom good news.... I found out on Thursday that I passed my sugar glucose test!!!! Yeah.... I was so thrilled. I was worried about it. What a relief. So, we are all on the downward hill of our pregnancies. I can't believe our little ones will be here before we know it. I still have so much to do. I have to turn our spare bedroom into the babies room. That means taking out the computer and bed room set. Repainting the room and filling it up again with nursery stuff. I bought a crib and it's already set up in the babies room. I did't buy any other furniture accessories thought. Because my friend is refinishing an antique dresser and wardrobe to go in the babies room.
We'll that's all for now. Are yall working on your nursery's too?? Let me know. I'm curious to see everyones. Once I get it all done; I will post some pictures. But, it will take me a month or so to get it all done.
That's all for now. Everyone take care! And talk to you soon.

Thursday, 18 Jun Hey, girl! Happy your vacation went well. I am with you, though. They are never long enough and you usually need a vacation to recoop from vacation before going back to work. Good luck with all your emails! In regards to the nursery. Well, I am starting to think I am not the norm. I have a small spare room that I call My Lucy and John Wayne room (pretty self explanatory). It'll be Keira's room. However, besides the standard baby furniture, there won't be too much of a change in that room...at least not right now. We aren't planning on staying in this house for too much longer, so I figured it would be a waste of time and money for now. Maybe I'm wrong...either way, thought it would be more fun to decorate her room (wherever we are) when she is still young but old enough to have an opinion of what she would like her room to be like. Maybe that's all messed up, but that's what we're doing for now. Good luck with your nursery. I look forward to looking at the pics. troxell9-09 -
Tuesday, 16 Jun I'm starting to put together a nursery. We have registered for furniture and have some accessories. We painted it a real light indigo color. (The theme is Classic Pooh and we went with "Eyore" for the color.) I can't wait to really get everything together. I've never put together a nursery before! AllyCat62683 -
Tuesday, 16 Jun I hate it when vacations end. Then you have to come home and unpack and that is so exhausting. I work year round too and hate it. Wish I could take the summers off again....
Glad to hear you passed your glucose test! cbcb0612 -
Monday, 15 Jun Going back to work after vacation is always hard. I never give myself enough time between the end of vacation and the start of work. We just finished our son's room (he is 3) since he will be switching rooms. He slept there for the first time last night! Now onto baby's room! There is so much to do and really not that much time left! Good luck! denise tx -
Sunday, 14 Jun I hate unpacking after vacation! Yes, our electricity FINALLY came on Friday am. Yes, I have been "looking" at nursery stuff online. Trying not to jump the gun as it is still so early on. Fun!
