| 17-7-2009 - weekend | My mood while writing this blog:happy |
Hello ladies,
Hope you are all doing well. I am doing fine. My hubby comes home on Saturday. I hate to admit it, but I have been sleeping so well without him! It's been nice to have the king size bed all to myself.
I was able to do some scrapbooking this week. I finally finished our Christmas scrapbook. I had been putting it off, but I am pleased with the outcome. I have been keeping up with my pregnancy scrapbook. I started collecting things from the very beginning. Plus, I have been taking lots of belly pics so that I could document my belly transformation. WOW>>>> what a difference! My hubby has been a trooper taking the pics. He likes my pregnant belly. Me, I'm ready to get my flat belly back, into cute clothes, and skinny jeans. I keep telling myself only a few more weeks of being plump and miserable. I feel like I am moving in slow motion some times. Like the bionic man!
I have already arranged for my neighbor to watch the baby so that I can go to the gym for a couple of hours a day. Plus, it will give me some alone time which I think that every new mother needs to keep their sanity. My plan is to work right up until I deliver. That is if there are no pregnancy complications. Then go on maternity leave for 6 weeks. Then FMLA kicks in. So, in total I am planning to take 8-9 weeks off. I would like to stay out till Thanksgiving, but I will have to see how that goes. FMLA is unpaid time so, it depends on the budget. We have been buying a pack of diapers every time we go to the grocery store, to stock up and ease the finances. I am curios to see how many of you are planning on being stay at home moms verses those going back to work. Let me know what your plans are please.
TGIF..... I am going to see the Harry Potter tonight with some girlfriends. I have been so looking forward to it. I have read all the books and am a big fan. I watched a special on JK Rowling last night. It was pretty interesting. She was flat broke and living on assistance when she wrote the first book. It was cool to hear her story. Now, she is a multi millionare, and is helping other struggling people throught the world.
We'll I hope that everyone has a great weekend. Stay out of the heat. I am looking forward to that ice cold movie theatre and cinema butter popcorn. yummy.............
