Hi Ladies,
It has been such a long time for me. I've been busy with the little one, as I am sure that all of you feel the same way. A hot soak in the jaccuzzi would be wonderful. But, let's just say that hasn't happened in a while. lol...
Grant is doing well. Although we already had one visit to the ER. He had a fever. So, we called his peditrician, who was booked solid. They told us for a newborn with a fever, that we had to take him to the ER. So, 5 hours later in the ER everything checked out allright. But, they checked him from head to toe. He had blood tests, flu test, swine flu test, chest xrays, and a spinal tap. Yes, a spinal tap!!! My poor little baby! But, he's doing great, with no explanation for the fever.
I stayed home with him for two months. Being a stay at home mom is a full time job. Hats off to all you ladies who do it! When I was at home; I was able to keep up with all of the house chores and had dinner on the table every day when the boys got off the bus. Before I was at home, they would normally come thru the door, and snack on junk food because they were starving. But, having dinner ready so early, they didn't have to eat junk food and got a good nutricious meal. I know the twins miss that now. It's back to snacking for them since I am back at work. I started back on Nov 2nd. It sure was tough coming back to work. It's hard leaving your little one to someone else to care for him.
He is a great little eater. He weighs about 13lbs 9 oz, and growing more every day! He is a little chunkster! He is such a good baby. He sleeps well and normally we only get up once a night for a feeding. Although, for two days in a row, he slept 9 hours straight thru the night! We were so surprised! I'm not sure if he will keep that up. But we are thankful for the two days that he did give us.
We have so much going on in our lives right now. It's a little overwhelming. In addition to having twin boys and a newborn, we are building a new house. So, I have my house on the market right now. We have a couple coming to look at it this weekend. I am keeping my finers crossed that it sells quickly. Say a prayer for me please! Our new house will be done some time in January. Our builder is so fast, I am just hoping that my house sells first.
We'll, Its time for me to start work. I hope all of you ladies are doing well. I don't have as much time for this site anymore. But, you can contact me on facebook. I am under Karen Jo Anne Hartman. Hope to talk to you all soon. Let me know how your doing.
Until then,
Jo Anne
