04-5-2009 - Week 8...YAY

My mood while writing this blog: Thrilled

8 weeks...Me....OMG Thank you God!!! I woke up with a sense of excitement today. I can't even beleive I am safely in week 8. It's so hard to even put into words I just know I am thankful to God and still continuing to pray. Just think 4 more weeks until 12 weeks!!! I think a big weight will be lifted off my shoulder at that point. I have never seen a pregnancy this far except for with my other 2 kids. So, this is truly a blessing.

My symptoms change here and there. I wake up with a little nausea, but it normally passes. I have had uterus cramping and gas cramping, but think I finally cleaned myself out...I hope. The constipation was no joke and it was a long time coming. My boobs still hurt off and on and the tiredness is still around, but I can handle that.

All in all it has been a good weeks. Of course I have worried as most of us do and especially due to having the 2 losses before, but I am putting my faith in the Lord and will continue to smile and rub my belly.

I go Thursday at 12:15 for a Prenatal 2 appt where they will do a pap exam and then another U/S!!! Aren't I lucky?? I read about so many who don't get to have a U/S until 11 weeks and more. I know that's got to be tough. I feel that this is a good pregnancy and feel like we will see a healthy baby with a nice strong heartbeat!!
