| 14-5-2009 - Baby Doppler and 10 Weeks!! |  My mood while writing this blog:Calm |
Ladies...I made it to 10 weeks!!!! I am so thrilled but the worry still lurks. I guess thats just normal so I am not too worried about it. My symptoms have mostly decreased so I got pretty scared, but was reassured that they can start to calm down heading into 2nd trimester. 12 weeks is not long to come and I am counting down for sure.
In hopes of keeping myself calm I ordered a baby doppler from Babybeat.com Want to try it out for a few months and hear the baby. I know we heard it on the ultrasound and it was amazing. Since the 1st trimester doesn't really allow you to feel preggo hearing a heartbeat if possible will be great. It says from 8 to 10 weeks so wish me luck. It should arrive tomorrow by UPS!!
I will post more once I play with it. I pray all is well on the inside and I hear another fast beat like we did last week. It was 182 last week which was a complete shock it sounded like a little horse galloping.
Anyhow, just wanted to share and ask for the continued prayer!!

I think it's great sis that you ordered the doppler, that way you can hear peanut h/b all the time!! I know it will set your mind at ease just to be able to hear it . Love ya sis!

A doppler definitely is a good way to keep yourself calm. I ordered one with pregnancy because of my history of m/c so I did and it was the only thing that kept me sane and out of the dr. office for the first and part of the second trimester. I still use mine.. The baby has her days where she isn't as active so if I really start to worry I listen to her heartbeat and is very reassuring. The only warning I may have: Don't freak if you can't find it immediately. Just remember that while it is possible to get the heartbeat at 10wks on a doppler it can still take a few minutes to locate and when you are laying down, start really low...like really close to your pelvic bone because the baby will be really low right now.
